Robert stepped down as the CEO of Signature Management Team at the end of 2009 to engage fulltime with the 7 Summit Challenge and to start a new business venture in the technology sector. He is training to complete an exhausting three year schedule to climb the highest peak on each continent known as the fabled "seven summits". During this time, Bob has been able to tie together his passion for the non-profit world and his business pursuits in the technology sector. He is working with a group of investors on multiple technology and social media applications to be released in 2010, one of which will specifically serve the non-profit community.

As CEO for SMT, an international retail/training company headquartered in Flint, MI, Robert spearhead a plan to help grow a Midwest focused business into an international business that more than tripled in size in five years doing over $42M in revenue. Prior to this, Robert served for over 6.5 years as a Captain in the United States Air Force in various assignments that led to extensive duty in Europe and Asia. As a Captain, he was hand selected to be the personal Aide-de-Camp to General William Begert, Commander of the Pacific Air Forces. On many visits to Washington DC he met with members of Congress and Pentagon officials. He was in daily contact with the highest levels of US Government, foreign militaries, and civilian and industry leaders. This invaluable experience and insight into the operation of industry and government at the highest levels would prove to be extremely valuable in his professional career.

Robert is extremely active in the community and is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and serves on the Autism Society Delegate Assembly Task Force in Washington DC. He co-founder of the "7 Summit Challenge" which is raising money for autism, cancer, and Alzheimer's support and research and serves as Chairman of the Board for Kindred Spirit.
